Meet Our Team

Gerald A. Miller (Tony), President/CEO

Tony founded Cambium Tree Care and Preservation, Inc. prior to 1998. He started out with one employee, a pickup truck and a borrowed trailer. In September 28, 1998, Hurricane Georges made landfall in Biloxi, MS. This unfortunate event forced Tony to learn quickly about removing trees. Through the years, he continued to develop his skills in the industry. He was trained as a climber and bucket operator, all while pursuing a degree in Business Management. Working in the trees quickly became his passion and Tony started seeking educational opportunities to further his knowledge in the industry. In 2004, he began working towards his Arborist Certification from the International Society of Arboriculture. This achievement was finally reached in March of 2007. Tony has continued to pursue his education and currently has several certifications and licenses to his credit. Some of his achievements include Mississippi State Licensed Rights of Way Contractor, Mississippi State Tree Surgery License, ISA Certified Arborist, Utility Specialist, Certified Tree Care Safety Professional and several others. He now owns and operates Cambium Tree Care and Preservation, Inc., speaks at numerous conventions and teaches classes all over the Gulf Coast with respect to tree care and safe tree care operations. He has grown the company to well over 50 employees and specializes in professional tree care, storm response and utility line clearance operations.
